We need someone who has exceptional analytical, organisational, strategic planning and project management skills required, ideally with international events and logistics experience, strong interpersonal skills, experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholders at all levels, and is a forward thinker who is able to bring structure to chaos and help shape projects to create clarity.

The New Now, a new initiative incubated by Virgin Unite, will bring together a core group of future focused leaders to support and inspire rising generations to shape a better world. People like Jaha Dukureh (anti-FGM activist), Taylor Wilson (nuclear physicist and science advocate), Alaa Murabit (medical doctor and peace and security expert), Jeremy Heimans (activist and movement builder), Uzo Iweala (writer and entrepreneur), Roya Mahboob (tech entrepreneur and education advocate) and Farwiza Farhan (environmental advocate).
The New Now aims to engage a rising generation of passionate activists to drive change. The Associate will have an opportunity to help start and build this organisation from the ground-up and will support the organisation’s Strategy, Campaigns, Digital Development and Communications. We are looking for an Associate who gets stuck-in, make things happen and thrives in a fast paced start-up environment.
We need someone who is keen to develop their skills across a range of functions and generally build their knowledge and experience, and has excellent research and analysis skills, with a passion for campaigning and social change.
We have ambitious plans to engage a rising generation of passionate activists to drive change through a knock-out digital strategy. The Digital Lead will have an opportunity to shape this from the outset, working in a fast-paced start-up, and with responsibilities across digital production, social media, audience development and engagement and technology.
We need someone who has proven experience of the development of digital and social strategies either for organisations or at an agency, with a focus on engaging youth or youthful audiences, preferably in a fast-paced digital publishing environment, and can develop and manage platforms with super engaging user experience that hook audiences in and keep them active.
