Virgin Atlantic announce US entrepreneur event series

The airline kicks things off next month in Los Angeles, as Richard Branson and a host of local experts explore why simple solutions cross borders...

Virgin Atlantic have today revealed details of their new entrepreneur event series, Business is an Adventure, which will see the airline host a collection of live events across the US in 2016.

The first event, which will be brought to life with the help of General Assembly and WeWork, will take place in Los Angeles on February 18th, before counting on to Washington, D.C., and Boston in the coming months.

The LA event, which takes place at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, will see Richard Branson joined by a panel of prominent local business leaders who will together explore the theme of 'Why Simple Solutions Cross Borders', focusing on how no brainer ideas can rock the world.

Moderated by television personality, entrepreneur, and author Carol Roth, the event - which will be live-streamed on - will also see a selection of exciting LA companies, who are yet to tap into the global market, share their ideas to the panel in exchange for guidance and advice.

"Thinking globally is important for any ambitious business and I am looking forward to meeting aspiring entrepreneurs facing that challenge today. Together with a number of founders already making waves across the world, we will be discussing the issues entrepreneurs face and providing advice to help more make that leap," explains the Virgin Group Founder.

Given its roots as an entrepreneurial airline that shook up the aviation industry more than 30 years ago, Virgin Atlantic is keen to get to know the movers and shakers in each city it flies to.

Last year saw the airline celebrate the people and businesses that are making Detroit great again, which you can explore in our Inside Detroit series. And throughout the coming months we will be profiling those people across LA, Washington and Boston who are making a real impact, both in their cities and on the global stage.
