Virgin Atlantic celebrates 25 years of flying to Orlando with sale fares

Virgin Atlantic is marking 25 years of flights to Orlando this year with free WiFi messaging throughout August – and a special anniversary fare for customers booking this week.

Over the last quarter of a century, Virgin Atlantic has flown more than 17 million people to and from Orlando, and with the help of Virgin Holidays they now take more holidaymakers to Florida than any other UK travel company.

Customers travelling to Orlando this month will enjoy complimentary messaging WiFi access throughout their journey, thanks to the airline’s partnership with Gogo – giving them bragging rights to WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

And for those planning their next holiday, the airline has announced a special anniversary fare to Orlando, with prices beginning from £359 – which will be available to book between August 4th and August 10th.

Since 1992, Orlando has grown to become one of the top holiday destinations from the UK, with over 55,000 holidaymakers flying with Virgin Atlantic in August alone. Today Virgin Atlantic offers flights from four UK airports – and recently announced 20 per cent more seats on the Glasgow to Orlando route for 2017, as well as a trebling of flights from Belfast in 2018.
