Senior Social Media Manager at Virgin Atlantic

Some of your key responsibilities as Senior Social Media Manager will be to: 

  • Drive and deliver a thought leadership programme for Virgin Atlantic and the Senior Leadership Team, operating and advising at the most senior level of the enterprise to build reputation 

  • Play a key role in supporting and delivering Virgin Atlantic’s Communications strategy, with the ambition of impactful storytelling to boost reputation, building brand power by driving customer preference to support revenue growth, and driving happiness by fostering a sense of belonging  

  • Be accountable for strategic oversight of the performance of consumer & corporate platforms, with responsibility for delivering a content storytelling strategy to inspire, excite and engage Virgin Atlantic’s people, customers and external partners 

  • Work in partnership with the Communications and Marketing teams to implement and track return on investment through activation, measurement and evaluation across all platforms, providing strategic counsel on the optimal channel mix to maximise reach

Social Media Content Creator at Virgin Media

TikTok's or Reels? Virgin Media is on the hunt for someone who loves to capture the moment! This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that manages, creates, and executes social media content and campaigns for Virgin Media. 

You’ll help build the profile of the brand with audiences by creating innovative, authentic, platform first content that aligns to the overall social media strategy and content pillars. As a social native, you'll have your fingers on the pulse of the latest platform trends and use your knowledge and creativity to deliver content that resonates with social audiences. 

As a Social Media Content Creator, you’ll have the creativity and passion to be able to turn your hand to creating content from scratch, sometimes in real time. TikTok, Reels & Stories will all come naturally to you, you’ll be a wiz at in-app functionalities and editing in platform to deliver authentic social first content. 

This role is integral to bring Virgin Media’s social plans to life, you’ll be working with key internal stakeholders including sponsorship, brand, customer comms, campaigns, PR, sustainability, and customer care teams. Externally you’ll be comfortable working with agencies, partners, content creators and Influencers to create and amplify content.
