This is a rare opportunity to join Virgin Atlantic as Social Media & Content Executive, where you’ll play a pivotal role in helping to drive brand preference and achieve its vision of becoming the most loved travel company. Virgin Atlantic is famous for its bold PR and Marketing campaigns and in this role, you could be supporting a range of high profile projects from the launch of a new route, to the unveiling of its latest state-of-the-art aircraft. You’ll work across the Communications team to support consumer and corporate social media platforms, and to develop content for internal and external audiences through a range of social channels.
Reporting into the Head of Editorial and working closely with the social media managers, you'll support the delivery of Virgin Atlantic’s social media strategy, with the objective of impacting brand preference and engagement KPI’s across Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Atlantic Holidays and Virgin Atlantic Cargo. You’ll be responsible for supporting the day to day community management of the Virgin Atlantic social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Tik Tok, through creating and scheduling posts, and contributing towards ideation and development of content.

In this role you will be supporting the delivery of high quality, robust and thoroughly reviewed front-end personalisation activity and A/B tests, in order to deliver improvements across the Virgin Experience Days website experience.
Working within the Dynamic Yield testing platform, you will utilise your front-end coding skills to temporarily change and manipulate the consumer facing web properties. This role reports into the Chief Marketing Officer and is a key member of the leadership team. The Business Development Director will lead the identification and delivery of new commercial opportunities for Virgin Red, led by the integration of new partnerships which drive the issuance and redemption of the Virgin Red currency.
The Business Development Team will be specifically responsible for working with the relevant stakeholders in identifying and delivering a pipeline of strategic and tactical partners to create and manage the earn and burn exchange to support the delivery of Virgin Red's business objectives, specifically the multi-million pound new revenue stream. They will also be responsible for identifying and creating new revenue streams from internal developments or external opportunities.

This role works with the Head of Business Development in leading Virgin Red's Business Development strategy, both with Virgin Companies and third parties. You’ll develop and manage an end-to-end Business Development process and pipeline, prioritised to align with Virgin Red's growth strategy.
You’ll also be responsible for identifying the objectives and needs, as well as business challenges, for Virgin companies and third parties and how Virgin Red can help address these.
This role is critical to the success of Virgin Red. The core purpose of Virgin Red is to create more loyal customers for all of the Virgin Companies and this role is a lynch pin to this purpose.
