Looking for a new adventure? Step right up. Here are some of the brilliant job opportunities going across the Virgin Group right now...
Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef on Necker Island
Fancy spending your life in paradise with the world’s best commute? Richard Branson's private island and home, Necker Island, is the most idyllic place in the Caribbean. Virgin Limited Edition is now looking to fill two positions available for a Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef on the island.
At 74 acres, Necker Island sits in turquoise waters surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with white sandy beaches. The island can be hired exclusively for up to 30 people and is the perfect destination for special occasions and events! It can also be shared with others during Celebration Weeks, which are held several times each year. Accommodation comes in the form of 11 rooms in the Great House and four individual Bali Houses dotted around the island. The property can also be rented for large events and weddings of over 200 people.
The style of Necker is 'barefoot luxury', but the feeling we aim to create for our guests when they arrive is one of coming home. Unless our guests feel completely at ease from the moment they step onto the island, we haven’t done our jobs properly.
The island provides extensive water sports activities, tennis courts, a resident coach, gym and outstanding spa treatments. There is also a wonderful array of rare wildlife on the island, which we are helping to flourish!
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef are both responsible for helping the kitchen team provide the highest all-round dining experience possible. You will also assist in creating a harmonious working environment for the kitchen team, and provide activities and entertainment for the guests. If you’ve experience in working in a 5-Star establishment, you can make the world’s most divine dishes under pressure and you can provide service with a smile, then apply today on the Virgin Limited Edition website.
