Gale Peart started up Caribbean Fortress Ltd last year, after working closely with the team from the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship. Her company is now operating as a leading networking business in the Caribbean – bridging the divide between English and Spanish speaking communities.

Caribbean Fortress Ltd create a variety of digital e-zines and events, focusing on igniting trade and investment opportunities, whilst empowering local lives for stronger regional and global linkages.

After starting her career in the finance industry, Gale fast became aware of the English/Spanish language barriers hindering investment and trade opportunities – noting also that financial traders and professionals spoke constantly online, but never met face-to-face.

Leveraging her event planning skills and business degree, Gale decided to shift her focus and get to work on creating bilingual networking and story telling opportunities.  A self confessed Richard Branson fangirl, she saw an ad for the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship online training program and jumped at the chance to apply and learn how to make her business idea scalable.

The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship – Caribbean (BCoEC) is a collaborative initiative between Virgin Unite and Virgin Holidays – partnering to bring world-class entrepreneur support to the region.

The team of professionals at the Branson Centre eat, sleep and breathe entrepreneurship – united in a vision to ignite business to operate in a sustainable and socially responsible way, to improve livelihoods, and transform the world.
