Over the last six years the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship has operated with the understanding that entrepreneurs thrive when connected to a robust ecosystem and a strong network of like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors.
Staying true to this belief, the Branson Centre recently announced its partnership with Hub Coworking – Jamaica’s premier co-working space. Through this partnership the centre hopes to further expand the pipeline for entrepreneurs across the island.
Hub Coworking provides a hub for small business owners to work, network, share ideas and collaborate. “The ecosystem has grown since the Centre started six years ago and this is an opportunity to continue building the pipeline for growth; the hub already enjoys a great network of entrepreneurs that they will also send our way, so this will be a win-win-win relationship for the Hub, the Branson Centre Caribbean and entrepreneurs” said Dmitri Dawkins, Entrepreneurship Programme Director - The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean.
We are excited about this partnership, which will foster the growth of Branson Centre entrepreneurs
The new partnership will provide Branson Centre entrepreneurs with a 50 per cent discount off services offered at the Kingston facility, including access to private meeting rooms, a selection of hot desks, wireless printing, unlimited internet access and unlimited free coffee.
Joelle Smith, Co-Partner The Hub Coworking said the following about the partnership,"We are excited about this partnership, which will foster the growth of Branson Centre entrepreneurs. The Hub provides a low cost, high quality environment, and promotes valuable networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs and potential clients. We are looking forward to more collaborations like these among stakeholders & enablers, so we can continue to see the entrepreneurial landscape in Jamaica flourish."
With much change on the horizon for the Branson Centre in 2018, this partnership is an exciting indication of the collaboration and success that’s to come in the New Year.
