Virgin Australia launch passports for kids

Calling all mini-globetrotters out there! Your time has finally come, as Virgin Australia reveal the very special news that they are releasing special passports just for kids. Little Indiana Jones' and tiny Lara Crofts rejoice - here is the High Flyer Passport.

Check out these snazzy things.

Thanks to Virgin Australia, our future travellers can now traverse the world in style, with these very slick, very red, kids' passports.

The High Flyer passport, available from today across Virgin Australia, celebrates young passengers by allowing them their own personal credentials, to show the airline's appreciation of customers of all ages.

Danielle Keighery, Virgin Australia Group Executive, hoped the new idea would help young flyers capture the magic of flying.

"We welcome children on board our flights every day and we always feel privileged to play a part in their early travel memories," she said.

The new little red books are a testament to the next generation of flyers - with over 900,000 children passengers boarding Virgin Australia planes every year. In addition, there are around 1000 Platinum Velocity Frequent Flyers under 12.

“In addition to being a keepsake for our young guests to take home, we hope that the passport will instill a sense of pride each time they fly and encourage future travel adventures,” Keighery added.
