Delighted to share this incredible trailer for new film Sides of a Horn – the first film to tell the story of South Africa’s rhino poaching war from both sides of the fence.
Wildlife conservation is an issue really close to my heart and it saddens me that an animal that is essentially a living, breathing time machine is being poached to the brink of extinction. Rhinos are one of Africa’s most precious assets and it would be a tragedy if they are no longer around when my grandchildren grow up.
Sides of a Horn, directed by Toby Wosskow, is so moving because it explores the issues behind poaching by following three characters – a ranger, a poacher and a rhino – as their paths collide in the bush.
I was proud to support the film by becoming an Executive Producer and I can’t wait to share the full film with you. Toby hopes it will expose the social impact of the rhino horn trade in a similar way that 'Blood Diamond' did for the diamond trade—humanising those on the ground, creating awareness, and catalysing positive change.
Head over to Sides of a Horn’s website to find out more about the film and what you can do to help save this magnificent species.
