My new role at Virgin

With so many wonderful Virgin businesses in countries all across the globe, I simply can’t be everywhere, all the time. But just because I can’t visit our company offices or stand on our services’ frontlines everyday, doesn’t mean I don’t love it when I am there. As we're celebrating changing career paths on this month, I thought it was perfect timing to share my own my role...

I love the energy and atmosphere of the day-to-day operations of our businesses. There’s a distinct, inimitable Virgin vibrancy that flows from our companies, and it’s kept us in business and growing for 40 years.

Wanting to get right back in the thick of it and be part of all the fun, I recently auditioned for a new role within the Group …

We believe that everyone who travels on our services has a story to tell. Long distance travel is not just a means to get from A to B – there’s generally a greater tale behind the journey. I know this first-hand, spending most of my time these days travelling the world to spread the wonderful message of our non-profit foundation Virgin Unite.

So, to help everyone on their way to be bound for glory, I tried out for the role of Virgin Trains’ announcer. I’m not sure that the director was convinced of my voice over skills. What do you think?
