While it may be an exciting day personally, it’s also a wonderful time of year for all of us sport fans. The World Cup is still going strong, but for me Wimbledon is always one of the highlights of the summer. While Roger Federer, Serena Williams and co entertain the crowds over at SW19, we thought we’d get into the swing of things over here in Paddington.
Yes, I’ll be joining a pop-up book signing in Little Venice this afternoon, right on the roof of the Darcy May Green boat in Paddington – opposite the entrance to the tube. When we saw there was some grass on the roof of the boat, we couldn’t resist getting our racquets ready.
If you want to pick up Finding My Virginity and fancy a rally with me (and the chance to win a signed copy!) then come along this lunchtime from 12.30pm. There will be strawberries and cream and some summer drinks too.
The updated paperback version of Finding My Virginity is on bookshelves and waiting at the click of a button for you now. There are extra bonus chapters as I try to share everything that has happened in the last 12 months, as well as the two decades before that. It’s been a real labour of love. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
