Aquaai founder & Co-CEO Liane Thompson has 20 years’ experience spearheading radical change in the media industry from both a technical and content perspective. The three time Prime Time Emmy nominee and former New York Times executive has managed large and small teams delivering branded and innovative products with mass audience appeal.

As an entrepreneur, Liane set up new media businesses in Hungary and Israel. Liane continues to create content and consults companies in marketing, reputation and cross-cultural management. A Graduate Fellow, Liane earned her Master of Journalism and Public Affairs Degree from American University in Washington, DC and was a scholarship recipient to Johannes Gutenberg Universität, Mainz, Germany where she studied Communications, European Law and International Relations. A native of California, Liane has also lived in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. In 2009, Liane spoke at the first #140conf. (Twitter) in New York about PTSD in children of war. Liane speaks fluent German and English and is passionate about traveling and providing her children a healthier planet.
