Virgin Australia has announced its Economy X offering, bringing its x-factor to the skies.
Providing further choice for guests, Economy X will give travellers more comfort and an enhanced travelling experience both on the ground and in the air across Virgin Australia’s entire network.
Economy X is an Australian-first product in the domestic market and is set to transform economy travel in Australia. The airline’s entire fleet of 75 Boeing 737 aircraft is being reconfigured to provide extra legroom in the first three rows of the Economy cabin. The majority of the reconfiguration is due to be finished by the end of May, when guests will be able to access Economy X.
Econmy X will be located in rows three to five on Boeing 737 aircraft and the Exit Rows, and will offer at least three inches of extra legroom, preferred overhead locker space, priority boarding, and priority security screening.
Group Executive Virgin Australia Airlines John Thomas said: “We know that speed on the ground and space in the air are important to our guests, which is why we’re excited to launch Economy X. Economy X will empower passengers to tailor their travel experience and will give them more choice when they fly. I’m confident that Economy X will be very well received by guests.”
