Play the gig of a lifetime in LA with Virgin Atlantic

Is your band the next Oasis? Maybe The 1975 is more your vibe? Virgin Atlantic is looking for a British band to play the gig of a lifetime in LA...

From The Stone Roses to Harry Styles, Manchester is home to some of the biggest names in British musical history. And Virgin Atlantic is celebrating its new Manchester to Los Angeles service by looking for the best new UK band or artist.

The airline is offering one band or artist the chance to perform at The Roxy in Los Angeles on May 27th. The Ramones, Neil Young and Guns N’ Roses have all previously taken to the stage so you’ll be in great rock n' roll company.

The prize includes return flights in Premium for the whole band and you might even get to do an acoustic performance at 38,000 feet.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning, send Virgin Atlantic a YouTube video of your music, tell them all about your band and let them know who your LA musical icon is and why.

You’ll need to be quick as competition entries close on May 5th and a shortlist will be revealed on Virgin Atlantic’s Facebook and Twitter pages on May 14th. Find out more and enter now.
