Virgin Voyages was founded in 2014 with a mission to create the world’s most irresistible travel brand. The company seeks to redefine what you should expect from a holiday at sea and create an Epic Sea Change For All.

Led by the company’s President and CEO Tom McAlpin, Virgin Voyages is headquartered in Plantation, FL with operations across the US, UK and Europe. In partnership with the Virgin Group, Virgin Voyages is jointly funded by Bain Capital, one of the world’s leading private multi-asset alternative investment firms.

Virgin Voyages currently has three ships on order with master shipbuilder Fincantieri. The brand’s first ship, the Scarlet Lady, will arrive at PortMiami in 2020 for her inaugural season, where she will sail to the Caribbean hosting more than 2,770 sailors and 1,150 amazing crew from around the world.

Before even hitting the high seas, Virgin Voyages is already making waves in the industry and challenging the status quo in a distinctly Virgin fashion. The Virgin Voyages onboard experience will be Adult-by-Design, an incredible yacht-like holiday for those 18 and older. A dose of ‘Vitamin Sea’ will be naturally intertwined across the entire ship, with sailor well-being activated through a mix of high-energy moments coupled with relaxation and rejuvenation.

Virgin Voyages is committed to having one of the cleanest fleets at sea, by investing in clean efficient technologies and implementing policies to reduce the company’s environmental footprint. In a bold move for the travel industry, Virgin Voyages has banned single-use plastics for its sailors, instead, the company will emphasize the use of recyclable and reusable materials across the ship.
