In the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide a wide range of administrative, operational, and strategic support to the Virgin Pulse CEO and Executive Leadership team.
In this role you will use your prior experience as an Executive Assistant to coordinate the activities of the CEO and leadership team, provide day-to-day administrative assistance, and complete project work for the CEO’s office. You will be responsible for tracking operational commitments and aid in ensuring consistent delivery. In this role, you will be required to call on your exceptional organisational and analytical skills as well as extensive experience with administration and communication. You should have an adequate technical background in order to resonate with the technology-oriented company culture. You take pride in being a strong team player with a can-do attitude and high ethical standards and you are more than capable of carrying out multiple projects while prioritising tasks as regularly required.
Virgin Orbit is launching the small satellite revolution, enabling missions that were previously unimaginable. It is delivering Virgin’s legendary customer experience by combining advanced technology with a diligent, hard-working team. It has built a workplace and a workforce of the future, knowing that its decisions and investments of today are launching the industries of tomorrow. Virgin Orbit has engaged a diverse and inclusive community of doers and dreamers alike, empowering all those working today to build satellites and constellations that will change the world.
Virgin Orbit is looking for a Communications Officer to join its team. It needs someone who can help tell its story to the world at large and to its colleagues in the company.
A key part of Virgin Orbit’s quest to boost imaginations and to launch the small satellite revolution is telling the story of what it’s doing. From the shop floor of the rocket factory to the mind-boggling missions being undertaken by its customers’ satellites, there are plenty of great stories to tell; and Virgin Orbit is committed to sharing them in an open, transparent, and inclusive way.
If you join Virgin Orbit in this position, you will make a major contribution to the way it communicates with the world at large. This will include both traditional and social media. In the past, it hasn’t been very active on social media in particular – they’ve been kind of busy, you know, building rockets – but now, as Virgin Orbit prepares to enter into routine commercial service with LauncherOne, it’s time to change that. Additionally, this job will help Virgin Orbit to communicate internally. As a growing company with multiple locations and a broad and diverse range of roles and backgrounds, it’s important that it clearly communicates what it’s doing, what comes next, where it has room for improvement, where it can celebrate challenges conquered and everything else.
Sound good? You bring a great work ethic, a love for space, and your internet credibility, and Virgin Orbit will bring the rockets. Head over to Virgin Orbit to apply now.
