Work for Virgin: Head of People Experience & Culture
Virgin Management has an exciting opportunity for a Head of People Experience & Culture to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as parental leave cover.
This role will direct the use of the Brand through People Experience across the Virgin Group
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Lead evolution & delivery of the Group People Experience strategy, including routinely reviewing and refining focus against Virgin’s strategic priorities and objectives working, closely with the Group CPO, Impact Director and Managing Director, Virgin Brand.
Work with the Brand Strategy and Insight team to inform and evolve the People Experience strategy, as well as to interrogate Group performance and enable reporting.
Lead a cross-team and multi-agency project to develop and launch a new global internal engagement platform, including ensuring a compelling proposition and launch campaign that lays the groundwork for platform success and influence on organisational change over time.
Drive a vision for Group level cultural evolution, including through a Product led shift facilitated by the new global internal engagement platform; aiming to step change collaboration between Virgin companies and peers, and bring it to life the Virgin family experience. Have significant influence on key senior Virgin company stakeholders including CPOs, PDs and Comms Directors, in order to engage them with the Group strategy and achieve adoption of plans.
Work with Group Head of Internal Comms and Brand Activation Manager to guide development of colleague engagement campaigns, and to plan communications for Virgin company People and Culture teams.
Anticipate and respond to key Group People risks and opportunities globally, including working with Brand, Purpose and Communications Directors to raise or manage issues in a timely way.
Manage relationships with the most senior People Leaders at Virgin companies and strategic topic leads (where those are different contacts) liaising closely with Group CPO, Impact Director and Managing Director, Virgin Brand.
Provide expertise and proactively champion focus on Belonging, Wellbeing and Future of Work internally and amongst Virgin companies, including managing regular virtual forums for company topic leads.
Manage a small team of direct reports and the team’s budget.
