Virgin Voyages is on the hunt for a super talented User Researcher of digital experiences and brand to join its Digital Strategy and Optimisation crew – dedicated to designing and delivering solutions that will transform our digital platforms, marketing operations, and personalisation for its Sailors (Customers) and First Mates (Travel Agents).
The ideal candidate will be doing interesting, mixed-methods research that directly impacts the products Virgin Voyages builds and its marketing strategies. This involves collaborating closely with the members of User Experience, Creative, Product, Software, Hardware and Brand and Growth teams to define and build digital experiences and messaging strategy.
This position requires deep customer focus, the desire to learn, the ability to dive deep and invent, a sense of urgency, the maturity to make hard decisions fast, being highly organised and self-driven, and having the composure and communication talent to effectively present to internal stakeholders. As a Crew Planning Analyst your role will provide reliable and comprehensive analytics and insights that will support operational strategies. This role partners with Airline Operations, Flight and Cabin Crew leaders and various stakeholders across the Virgin Australia business to influence strategic workforce planning and labour optimisation.
Some of the exciting challenges in this role are: production and management of short to medium-term resource plans and workforce planning modelling, productivity targets, training requirements, annual leave management, cost and budgetary control, regulatory and EBA compliance, and fatigue management in a constantly changing environment.
