Virgin Australia biofuel work hits the headlines

The work of Virgin Australia has been recognised by Channel Ten News in Australia, which recently featured the airline in their exclusive report about biofuels for aviation.

In December Virgin Australia announced it had entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australian-based biofuel company Licella to support the commercialisation of a unique new process that converts biomass into sustainable aviation fuel. This is in addition to the development work they are doing to try and produce biofuel using the mallee eucalypt tree.
