OceanElders and WildAid are holding a global online celebration at theBlu.com, in honour of todays World Oceans Day.
Inspired by the ocean, theBlu is a global mission to create the worlds largest art and entertainment experience, to inspire social change. It is an interactive online world where every species and habitat is a unique work of art created by developers and digital artists around the world. It aims to raise awareness and funding for our oceans by uniting individuals, communities, and organizations all over the world in a globally shared moment celebrating the beauty and significance of the world's ocean.
Today, the "Big Blu" whale, created by Academy Award winner Andy Jones (for Avatar), will be seen for the first time in theBlu, and Ambassador Species sponsored by WildAid and OceanElders will be available for purchase.
