Las Vegas holidays
Las Vegas - the city of bright lights, glitz and glamour. While previous thoughts of Vegas may bring up images of cheesy decadence, the new Vegas has worked hard to ensure it is now at the forefront of entertainment. A new selection of hotels has been constructed and each of them offers the finest service. Las Vegas is perpetually busy – there is always something to do, regardless of the time! Many of the attractions in Las Vegas are open 24 hours a day. From designer stores to trendy bars, there is always somewhere to go and something wonderful to see.
Las Vegas prides itself on entertainment and often plays host to huge names and world famous shows such as the Blue Man Group, Elton John and Cirque du Soleil. There are also theme parks packed with roller coasters and excellent water parks, so it’s not just adult fun, kids can have a great time here too!
Of course, fine restaurants and bars are not in short supply. Many well respected dining establishments have branches in Las Vegas. You simply can’t mention Las Vegas without mentioning the casinos, where you can have all sorts of fun, whether you want to gamble or not!
From Las Vegas you can also take a short trip to see the immense Grand Canyon, and there are even helicopter rides that give you an aerial view of the Las Vegas Strip.
What To Do
Sin City is traditionally a wonderland for gamblers, but the modern day Las Vegas is suitable for all Virgin holidaymakers, young and old. While the casinos are still a huge attraction, they also host world class entertainment, star musicians and shows. There are water and theme parks for daytime fun too – all in the middle of the desert, with the Grand Canyon not too far away for adventurous Virgin travellers.
Where To Eat
Many diners combine their meals with a show in Las Vegas, with restaurants such as Fleur De Lys and Shanghai Lily catering for these Virgin travel options. Cooking meat is an art from at the likes of Craftsteak and BOA Steakhouse, while Shibuya is a highly recommended Japanese alternative and Aureole and Mix give some good old American grub.
