The prospect of a new year brings with it many hopes and dreams. If an exotic adventure is nestled among your list of new years resolutions or things to achieve by the end of 2012, then Virgin Limited Edition may have just the tonic for you.
In March and February Richard Branson's Luxury Catamaran, Necker Belle, will be relocating to the Caribbean's Silver Bank to observe humpback whales in their natural habitat and the crew would like you to join them.
The beautiful mammals were once on the verge of extinction, until a whaling ban introduced in 1966 saw the population recover, it is now thought that there are some 80,000 humpback whales living in the earth's seas.
The graceful creatures can weigh up to 36,000 kg and stretch to 16 meters in length. They are even known to display individual characteristics and have their own unique personalities, making spotting them on board Necker Belle a breathtaking experience.
Necker Belle is in it's own right a fascinating place to spend time, as Richard Branson explains: "As the name implies, the experience on board is not unlike a mobile version of Necker Island, my home and favourite hideaway."
The Silver Bank itself is a part of the Caribbean located 100 km north of the Dominican Republic, the whales frequent the local area to mate and take advantage of the warmer waters during the north Atlantic winter season.
Through its partnership with local experts Virgin Limited Edition plans to be there to capture this most spectacular of sights.
So to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity visit Virgin Limited Edition.
