Virgin's most frequent flyer to head to space

Virgin America have launched their Mission Galactic website, following the announcement that Virgin’s most frequent flyer will win a Virgin Galactic suborbital space flight.

The person with the most Elevate status points by August 7th 2013, gained by flying on Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia services, will be given the chance to be amongst the first passengers on the inaugural flight of the world’s first commercial spaceline.

As well as allowing you to sign up for Mission Galactic, the new website also reveals the prize for the runner-up in the contest. The flyer with the second most Elevate points will still get a true taste of weightlessness, as they experience a zero-gravity flight, courtesy of ZERO-G.
