Virgin Galactic pilot Keith Colmer has this week had his first opportunity to fly the Galactic mothership – WhiteKnightTwo. The world’s first commercial spaceline have had a busy start to the year at Spaceport, putting both crew and aircrafts through their paces.
Colmer, who has flown a wide range of commercial, military, and general aviation aircrafts was understandably very excited to take charge of the mothership for the first time: "It was an outstanding first flight. WhiteKnightTwo has phenomenal performance…the climb out was spectacular! Thanks to all of the crew chiefs and engineers at Scaled and TSC for working extra hard to get the flight accomplished!”

However as you can see from this splashing photo, he may not have been quite so complimentary after the Galactic team engaged him in a little post-first-flight tradition!
