Virgin Galactic are set to make a special appearance at one of the world's most famous aviation events - Farnborough International Airshow.
The world's first commercial spaceline with take pride of place at the annual aviation extravaganza, which takes place this July.
One of the key themes of the event is the future of air travel, which Virgin Galactic are spearheading. Richard Branson's spaceline will be appearing at both the trade exhibition from July 9th-13th and the public airshow on July 14th-15th.
Amanda Stainer, Events and Exhibitions Director at Farnborough International Ltd, commented: "Every show we bring together an impressive collection of aircraft both on static display and in the air and this show is no exception.
"We celebrate the history of aviation and praise modern day air travel but most importantly, we represent the future epitomized by new aircraft from companies such as Boeing and Airbus and the way our children’s children will travel through the stratosphere with the Virgin Galactic showcasing at Farnborough for the first time."
Look out for some potential big announcements from Virgin Galactic - and there may be a special guest or two as well!
There will also be a five-hour flying display at Farnborough International Airshow, featuring aerobatic display teams, classic planes and speeding jets. The RAF Red Arrows are sure to be a big draw, along with the likes of The Breitling Jet Team, The Blades, RedHawks and Breitling Wingwalkers.
