Virgin America take World Series trophy on tour

If you were the World Series trophy, you would want to travel in style, right? Well Virgin America are here to help. The World Series trophy is on a 3,000-mile flight across the country in one of Virgin America's First Class seats.

Virgin America, the only airline headquartered in the Bay Area, is the official airline of 2012 World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants.

The trophy will be in New York city to celebrate with Giants fans, who will also have the chance to watch the SF Giants’ Channel 8 on Virgin America's Red™ In-Flight Entertainment System. Plus, they can win Giants goodies and take share photos with this most treasured of trophies.

If you aren't lucky enough to be on the flight, SF Giants President and CEO, Larry Baer, will be hosting a Live Tweet chat. Send your questions using the hashtag #sfgtrophy for a chance to have your question answered from 35,000 feet.

Head over to Virgin America's blog to find out more.
