Virgin America launches new flights to Palm Springs

Virgin America has launched a nonstop flight service to Palm Springs from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and San Francisco International Airport.

The new routes mean that those wishing to escape to the hip desert oasis will be able to do so with a certain amount of style.

Travellers can expect to begin partying as soon as they step through security, with Virgin America planes coming with a pledge to fun as well as safety and passenger comfort.

The response to the announcement from those who reside in Palm Springs has been generously positive, with Palm Springs Desert Resort Communities CEO, Scott White, stating: “Being known for our weather, unrivalled golfing, world class resorts and globally-recognized festivals like the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Palm Springs market is a perfect fit for Virgin America’s chic new flight service.

“The airline’s new nonstop and through flights from both SFO and JFK will lower fares and improve service in our market – and allow more travellers to enjoy all that our unique region has to offer.”

Visit Virgin America to find out more and join in the party.
