The Virgin Oceanic infographic

As Richard Branson last week revealed on his blog, Virgin Oceanic have started manned shallow sea trials in Newport Beach, CA in their submarine.
Three days of testing saw four successful dives with life support, fly by wire and ballast drop systems all being tested and proven to be in perfect working order. With just the pressure test left to conquer, it shouldn’t be long until the submarine is heading down 30,000 feet to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
