The Virgin Australia refurbishment is clearly progressing well, with the airline releasing new pictures of both its fleet and terminals getting a brand new lease of life.
As those of you who’ve recently travelled through Sydney might have noticed, there’s a brand new Virgin Australia departure lounge – including a pier extension.
Meanwhile on board the airline’s fleet of E190 planes there’s a refresh taking place, with new cabins and facilities for passengers. The plane featured here will be flying customers between Sydney and Canberra in just 23 minutes!

As you can see there's a new, spacious and intimate Business Class cabin in 2-1 seat layout...

... while the Samsung Galaxy Tab provides high definition and sharp viewing and audio experience while on board...

...over at Sydney the Virgin Australia ‘Flying Maiden’ is proudly displayed above the new service desk...

...the airport Pier has been expanded externally to offer five additional departure gates. This means the airline can allocate an extra three Airbus A330 aircraft or five Boeing 737 aircraft, enabling operations to run even more smoothly.
If you’d like to book your flight, head over to the Virgin Australia website.
