  • Virgin Galactic at Farnborough

Virgin Galactic are today putting the final touches to their base at the Farnborough International Airshow, with the world’s first commercial spaceline confirmed as the star attraction at this year’s event.

Tomorrow will see many of Galactic's future astronauts join Richard Branson and Virgin at the site, with a full size scale model of SpaceShipTwo (pictured) being unveiled.

As well as Galactic there will be; a five-hour flying display featuring aerobatic display teams, classic planes and speeding jets, the RAF Red Arrows, the Breitling Jet Team, The Blades, RedHawks and Breitling Wingwalkers.
