Richard opens new Virgin Clubhouse in NY

There may well be a few sore heads tumbling out of bed in New York this morning, after Richard Branson last night opened Virgin Atlantic’s brand new Clubhouse at JFK International Airport in typical Virgin style – with a big party!
The opening kicked off with the three finalists of the Virgin Atlantic competition engaging in a Google+ Hangout with the Virgin Group founder, who presented them a series of clues which would lead them to a VIP ticket to the party hidden in the city.
After a mad dash and some slight mishaps (one finalist’s phone died, another turned up at the wrong ice-rink) @erdbez was crowned the winner and whisked off with a friend in a waiting limo to the party. Once there he was awarded return flights to London and was able to enjoy the night as Branson’s guest, as you can see it was quite a party.
The luxury surroundings of the Clubhouse played host to an evening of Virgin Rose cocktails as Branson proudly held court at JFK, declaring the success of Virgin Atlantic had been down to: “choosing the right people and paying attention to detail."
