Richard Branson visits Virgin Galactic

Richard Branson yesterday visited the home of the world’s first commercial spaceline, as he went to Virgin Galactic’s operations base in Mojave, California.

The Virgin Group Founder, who was joined by his daughter Holly, received an update on the ambitious project from the 175 strong team.

“For such a complex and difficult endeavor, their progress is impressive and their passion and commitment for starting the brand new sector of commercial space travel was utterly inspiring,” commented Branson.

The Bransons were shown the vehicle test sites before being given an update on operations, assembly and propulsion.

If you’d like to find out more about the day you can do so by visiting Richard Branson’s blog, alternatively learn more about the space mission by heading over to the Virgin Galactic website.
