Richard Branson sends shoes

When Shannon Smith tweeted Richard Branson saying she would like to spend a day in his shoes, she didn't expect a reply. However, Dr Yes was listening...
"Will send shoes!! he tweeted back. She replied: "B/day wishes do come true."
The Virgin Founder blogged yesterday: "Shannon Smith tweeted me to say she would like to spend a day in my shoes. So...I sent her my shoes!"
Here are Branson's shoes on a Virgin America flight from New York, on their way to be delivered to their new owner.
Ms Smith received a signed copy of Like A Virgin and a t-shirt too, which were hand-delivered by the Virgn America team to her home.
After being challenged to wear the shoes for a whole day, she even recorded her own reply to Richard Branson, which you can watch above, and baked cookies.
Ms Smith is using the shoes as inspiration in her own business venture, BeautySmith - good luck in 2013! Happy holidays to one and all.
