Conversations in a Cloud with Richard Branson

If you were looking for business advice from Richard Branson, what would you ask?

Virgin Atlantic introduces ‘Conversations in a Cloud,’ a pop-up business panel for future leaders, on October 2nd at our newly-redesigned Upper Class bar, which we are bringing from 35,000 feet…to Wall Street.

To celebrate the recently debuted Upper Class suite and Branson’s new book, Like a Virgin: Secrets They Won’t Teach You at Business School, our panel of top entrepreneurs (including the Virgin Founder himself) will offer business advice to selected tweeters at the bespoke Virgin Atlantic bar in front of the New York Stock Exchange.

In order to win face-time, follow @VAAintheUSA and explain – in 140 characters or less – why you deserve to converse with our distinguished panel, headed by Branson. In order to be considered, include the hashtag #CloudConvos.

Virgin Atlantic will select the most original submissions and offer winners five minutes with each panelist and signed copies of Like A Virgin. Those who join us on Wall Street will be eligible for special bonuses such as the chance to engage with our panel by tweeting live, receive copies of the new book, and more.

“Some of the world’s most famous companies were born out of a casual conversation,” said Chris Rossi, Senior Vice President, Virgin Atlantic. “We recognise that when our Upper Class passengers fly, the on-board bar often becomes a focal point in the flight where like-minded business individuals meet, chat and inspire at 35,000ft. By bringing a taste of the Virgin Atlantic atmosphere to the streets of New York, along with our founder and some of our most regular fliers, we hope to recreate an experience to inspire future business leaders.”

‘Conversations in a Cloud’ will take place at Exchange Place from 12:30pm on October 2nd and provide a dynamic environment where creative, curious minds gather to share ideas and inspiration. A Virgin Atlantic bar, a trademark of the new Upper Class suite on-board A330 aircraft and known as the birthplace for some of the sky’s greatest ‘aha!’ moments, will be the scene for this one-of-a-kind pow-wow.

The completely redesigned Upper Class cabin – which took to the skies this spring after an investment of £100million in Virgin Atlantic’s fleet and services – features the longest bar currently in the clouds, and provides inspiration at altitude, bespoke Swarovski crystal curtains, and new mood lighting creating eight different atmospheres during a flight.
