Celebrities back Virgin Trains e-petition

The UK’s celebrity Twitter users have come out in force to support the independent e-petition to keep Virgin Trains.
Following the government’s decision to last week award the West Coast Mainline franchise to FirstGroup a member of the public, Ross McKillop, setup a petition on the DirectGov website calling for a review of the decision.
100,000 signatures will see government forced to consider debating the matter in the House of Commons, at the time of writing over 70,000 UK residents had signed the e-petition.
Support for the movement has been steadily building, with a number of well-known faces giving their public support, including:
