Where do you like to go on holiday?

At this time of year lots of people go on holiday - where do you like to get away from it all and take a break?
We are enjoying a holiday here at my home on Necker with family and friends joining us for lots of fun adventures. Rest assured I won’t stay away from blogging for very long even when taking time off!
A few people have asked recently where my favourite place to go on holiday is. I’m lucky enough to travel all over the world, often working but always finding time to take in the surroundings.
I love Africa and really enjoyed visiting South America for the first time in the past year. Australia is a special place, Bali is spectacular, Thailand is beautiful. I could keep going – there are a lot of wonderful places in the world!
Choosing where to go on holiday does depend on what you can afford; often you can get a lot of pleasure travelling in your own country. How do you decide where to visit? And where is your favourite place to holiday? Let us know.
