The three Ms - Mexico to Mumbai to Moscow

From spacelines back to airlines! Had a great time launching Virgin Atlantic’s new route to Cancun in Mexico earlier this week.
But lots of people were confused as to why, at one point in the celebrations, Virgin Atlantic Chief Executive Steve Ridgway and I were on a snow-covered beach wearing Russian hats…
We are pleased to reveal we are planning to start daily flights from London Heathrow to Moscow in 2013!
The route is open for business after BA’s takeover of bmi and we are keen to revitalise competition and customer experience for UK and Russian travellers. Moscow is a magical place I have had the pleasure of visiting personally, and I look forward to many more Brits doing likewise from next year.
We seem to have a thing about cities beginning with M at the moment, as Virgin Atlantic are also launching flights to Mumbai this October. This new route will connect the Indian city with the US via Heathrow – we can’t wait for the inaugural flight.
Wonder where Virgin Atlantic will fly to next…
