Was delighted to see how technology was used to bring together two of the world’s finest minds when Arch and His Holiness The Dalai Lama spoke over Google+ recently.
In case you missed it, The Dalai Lama gave the inaugural Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture over Google+ Hangouts.
They discussed peace and reconciliation in a moving - and at times hilarious – conversation you can watch above.
I took part in my first Hangout on Google+ recently, while Virgin is among the first brands on Google+ trying out what it has to offer. I look forward to seeing how it develops and getting involved too.
This is just another example of the power and potential of the internet to bring people together from all corners of the globe.
