Stopping species slaughter

We are continuing to support efforts to stop species slaughter around the world. Last year we travelled to China with Yao Ming to hold a press conference about shark finning with WildAid and Virgin Unite. He really is the most influential person in China and that press conference may well have resulted in the Chinese Government banning it at State banquets. A first step.
Now our friends at WildAid have taken him to Africa to alert the Chinese in to the slaughter of elephants and rhinos for their ivory and tusks. Here’s a good story on his trip.
Let’s hope it makes a difference before it’s too late. The slaughter that’s been going on for the last three years is literally quite horrific. At this rate there will be few rhinos left within a handful of years.
