Spotted in Scooby-Doo

Was pointed in the direction of Scooby-Doo, the classic cartoon series after the appearance of a character called 'Biff Wellington', voiced by Ron Perlman.
Biff is described as an "eccentric billionaire" who is off to break many records and says "tomato" rather than "tomaatoo". Sounds strangely familiar!
Look away now if you don't want to read the spoilers, but Biff appears to be the villain of the piece as he disguises himself as 'Captain Skunkbeard'. However, he has been hypnotised by the dastardly Mr Mysterio.
It turns out the meteor is made of solid gold. We don't expect to find anything like that when we head to space with Virgin Galactic, but promise to keep an eye out for Mr Mysterio up in space.
Are you a Scooby-Doo fan? What was your favourite cartoon growing up?
