Shaking up Britain’s banking system

Met around 5,000 Virgin staff over a 48 hour period, travelling across the UK in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Norwich and London. It was a real pleasure seeing them all and welcoming the dedicated staff from Northern Rock into the Virgin family. We look forward to shaking up Britain’s banking system with everybody.
Love the new lounges that have already been opened, and it was great going to a lot of the branches and meeting staff and customers. Also got the chance to meet MPs including the deputy First Minister of Scotland, councillors and even some Newcastle United footballers.
There has been a fantastic positive response to what we are trying to do, thank you for all of your feedback. This is the start of a whole new era at a time when banking desperately needs some real competition.
It all culminated in a wonderful show put on by Virgin Money at Senate House in London, the results of which you can see above. The projection summed up the excitement, energy and freshness of our new adventure into banking. Do share the footage, we’re very proud of it.
