In time for the Jubilee, we dug out this old photo of our Virgin Records store. Never Mind The...?
I recall the Queen's Jubilee in 1977, when I was cruising down the river with Johnny Rotten. 25 years later I was doing exactly the same, only I was sitting behind the Queen.
There's lots more detail over in a fantastic blog on the Guardian where lots of people who were there with me and the Pistols recall their thoughts on the day. From the police to the music, the press to the drugs, the anarchy to the arrests, it's all there.
