Kids say the most wonderful things

Since Holly’s wedding I have been getting asked a lot of questions about grandchildren, and have been thinking of some of the wonderful wisdom kids come out with.
Having recently answered some fantastic questions from young people on Virgin Oceanic, we thought it might be quite fun to look for best quotes from young kids.
Here’s a few examples of my own, starting with one from a seven-year-old called Bobby: “Love. It’s what’s in the room with you at Christmas when you stop opening presents and listen.”
Another from Billy, aged four: “When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know your name is safe in their mouth.”

This is from Karen, aged seven: “When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and stars come out of them.”
I love this one too. A little boy was sitting on the lap of an old man who had lost his wife. His mother asked him: “What did you say to him?” He responded: “Nothing, I just helped him cry.”
Then there’s Holly’s classic she said aged eight when some friends of ours were getting wed: “"They can't be getting married. They haven't had any children yet!"
Come up with your best ones and let us know!
