Is being a force for good really controversial?

At the very end of this Hangout on Screw Business As Usual, the CNBC interviewer said how incredibly “controversial” it was for me to say that I wanted business to be a force for good.

Why is it so controversial to be a force for good in business? Why isn’t it the norm? It was very bizarre, but also interesting, to discover many people feel business and positive change can’t mix.

Here at Virgin, we think the only way businesses in the future can succeed is by being forces for good. How about you?
