In Canada for the inaugural Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Vancouver.
I always love going to Vancouver; it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and where we launched Carbon War Room’s Green Capital Global Challenge during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Vancouver knows that going green is good for business and, with the greenest building code in North America and by promoting low carbon clean tech industry, is close to becoming the Greenest City in the world. Plus, it’s got some of the best views and friendliest people on the planet. Above is the view from my window now.
Looking forwards to seeing many great friends, raising lots of money for good causes (such as Free the Children, Project Limelight, and Virgin Unite) and letting everybody know that Virgin Atlantic has arrived. There will now be some real competition on the route!
