Hot on the heels of Ashton Kutcher signing up as Virgin Galactic’s 500th future customer, comes exciting news about Galactic Unite, the fantastic not-for-profit initiative which has been inspired and driven by the amazing global community of Virgin Galactic's future astronauts supported by Virgin Unite.
Galactic Unite is combining the considerable resources of the group to be a force for good, using the excitement and inspiration of space travel to promote science based education and entrepreneurship. Galactic Unite has just announced that two of our future astronauts, Sarah Brightman, who I’ve known for many years, and the wonderful Jan Bytheway, have both generously sponsored Galactic Unite STEM scholarships which will allow young US women to pursue studies and careers in science and technology.
These and a host of other ideas promise to take Galactic to new heights. I love it when our customers set the pace for our businesses to make good things happen!
