Back when we started Virgin, we came up with the name because we were all virgins at business. It was our first time and Virgin has been about first times ever since.
With that in mind, Virgin is holding a social marathon on November 16th - a global, group-wide celebration of the power of social media. This is the first time all of the Virgin companies around the world have come together on one day to take part in a global social event.
I’m kicking off the 26-hour marathon, sharing my First Times as we look back at Virgin's History, and will be there at the finishing line of the marathon at Rock The Kasbah in LA. Do you remember your first time with Virgin?
