Films that make you cry

"I'm not crying, there's just something in my eye..."

My kids always bring a box of tissues to the cinema when we go together. Sad or happy films they know dad will need them.

Do you sometimes get so wrapped up in a film that it makes you cry? You're not alone - that's why Virgin Atlantic has introduced an emotional health warning on tearjerker movies.

The warning sign that will flash up before the start of the films to let our passengers know to have tissues at the ready. You can even press the call button for a shoulder to cry on.

Flying can be an emotional experience. More than half of the respondents to our survey agreed their senses are heightened when on a flight. 41% of men even admitted to hiding under the blankets so people didn't see them shedding tears.

So which films are guaranteed to make you cry? A hard-hitting documentary that portrays moving real-life stories, or a cheesy but sweet Hollywood rom-com? Let us know your favourite tearjerkers.
