Congratulations to David Weir for winning his fourth Paralympic gold medal from four events. An incredible achievement from a brilliant competitor.
The Paralympics has been a spectacular success, and the crowds really have got behind all of the athletes. The thousands lining the streets of London for today's marathon typified this - even the British weather has played its part!
People's perceptions of disability are changing for the better. We all need to make sure this continues long after the buzz from this incredible summer of sport is over, and becomes ingrained across society.
It's a great day to be in London today with the victory parade going on. Well done again to all involved in the incredible Paralympics and Olympic Games.
An extra note of encouragement to Andy Murray in the US Open final. Wouldn't Andy's first Grand Slam win be the perfect way to round off the sporting summer? We're all behind you Andy.
